New in Tiptap: zoom support for page layouts. Your users can now pinch to zoom, or you can wire up a slider or dropdown to let them zoom in and out of their document. Just like they'd expect from Google Docs or MS Word. Two lines of code to set it up. If you copy & paste from Excel, Word, or Google Docs into your editor and it breaks everything, we built PasteHandler. It watches for pastes and quietly cleans up all the source-specific junk before it gets into your document. It handles Excel, Word, Outlook, Google Docs, Google Sheets, across desktop and web. No config, just add the extension and it works: npm install @tiptap-pro/extension-paste-handler It runs a pipeline of transformations on pasted HTML. Resolves CSS classes to inline styles, strips Office markup, rebuilds nested lists, converts ARIA headings to real headings, merges those weird Google Docs paragraphs into proper line breaks. We just shipped a Tiptap skill for AI coding agents. If you're building with Tiptap and using tools like Claude or Cursor, the AI often tries to write custom implementations for things we already have extensions for. Collaboration, for example. Instead of letting the AI reinvent the wheel, the skill teaches it to use our actual APIs and pro extensions correctly. It's an early version and we'll keep improving it, but it's already useful.
