Updates

  • Introducing AI in Twenty. AI chat, agents, skills, tools, and MCP now work together to power your workspace. AI chat in Twenty can load skills, discover tools, and act on your CRM: find records, create/update data, group results, build dashboards, and draft workflows, all within your permissions. AI agents, now in Twenty workflows. Add an AI Agent step, give it a prompt with workflow variables, choose its model, define its output schema, and control exactly which records and actions it can access. Twenty now also ships an MCP server. MCP-compatible clients can connect to your workspace, list Twenty tools, load skills, and take permission-aware action through OAuth or API keys. We’re still early, and feedback is very welcome!

We're launching Twenty 2.0 and it's so big we'll need four days to show you what we've built. Today: new website!

  • Introducing Custom Layouts in Twenty. You now have full control over what your workspace looks like 🎨 With Custom Layouts, you can customize: • your navigation sidebar • your commands (the buttons at the top right) • your record pages You can also go further by building your own front-end components and displaying them in: • full-width pages • dashboards • record pages • the right sidebar after a command is clicked The goal is simple: make your CRM fit the way your team actually works!

Introducing Twenty SDK 🛠️ CRM used to be a database you filled out on Fridays. AI turned it into the system that runs your entire go-to-market. And that changes the math: if every company is running the same AI on top of the same CRM, nobody is differentiated. To stand out, you have to build what your competitors can't buy off the shelf. That's why we built Twenty SDK. It gives you everything you need to build your own in-house custom CRM on top of reliable foundations. At AI speed, without the AI slop: → Data model: custom objects, custom fields → Logic: tools, serverless functions, skills → Layout: views, widgets, layout pages, commands And you get the full modern developer experience on top: customize with code or AI, create custom front-ends, build against a Custom API and GraphQL Playground, and ship reliably with CI/CD. Stop renting your GTM stack. Start differentiating it. Build your own custom CRM today → https://lnkd.in/dcqGt8vZ Great job Raphaël Bosi for the video!

  • Technical teams building a CRM usually face two bad options: Retrofitting Salesforce or building everything in-house. One is bloated. The other turns into a long-term maintenance burden. There should be a third path.

NGOs: If you want a simpler way to track donors, campaigns, and follow-ups, James Bryant is building a fundraising module on Twenty. He’s looking for a few orgs to test it in a free 4-week pilot You will find all the details here: https://lnkd.in/g9nDEGnT

I guess it’s about time I share what I’ve been working on this past year… Just over a year ago I came across Twenty - a modern, open-source CRM. After years helping nonprofits set up and migrate their systems, I’d watched the tools evolve - and get more complex. If you need that level of sophistication, great. If you don’t, you’re stuck carrying it anyway. I was curious to see if something different was possible. Lean, modular, easier to work with. And with the potential to be a truly community-owned product over time. So I dived into Twenty’s code and started building. Now many months (and late nights) later, we’re preparing to release the fundraising module on Twenty’s new Apps framework (launching soon). Ahead of that, we’re opening a supported, 4 week pilot starting in March. A small cohort of 5–10 nonprofits will receive free Twenty licenses, hands-on workshops, and full access to the module. No cost, no commitment. If this could be useful to someone in your network, please feel free to share the link: https://lnkd.in/eDrrbwUG It’s early days... but if it works, it could open up an exciting new direction for open-source, community-owned nonprofit CRM. If you'd like to find out more - or help be part of what comes next - please feel free to message me.
