Yesterday I learned that my friend Shelly Kittleson was abducted in Baghdad, apparently by men belonging to a militia group. Some source mention the so-called Hezbollah Brigades, an Iraqi paramilitary group linked with the Iranian regime, but the truth is that there's no clear information on her whereabouts. Diplomacy and intelligence are hopefully doing their best to free her. In the meantime, if any colleague or organization can circulate the news, this would help pressuring authorities to act. Shelly is a US citizen and legally resident in Italy since 2008, where she is registered as a professional journalist with Ordine Nazionale Dei Giornalisti. https://lnkd.in/dz_JWa7B
