Consolidation strikes again! My heart is with my former Scripps colleagues in Indy - as most of them appear to have been let go as WISH/Circle City closed on its purchase of WRTV. The fact of the matter is consolidation means fewer journalists, fewer options, fewer perspectives, and we the public and taxpayers (and customers) ultimately lose. Sometimes it’s a decline by degrees, sometimes it’s catastrophic. I could go on and on about the current legacy media shakeup. For another time, perhaps. https://lnkd.in/eMEM5yiy
