  • SPT Acquisition Block

    SPT (Signal Processing Toolbox) contains the hardware modules required for processing sampled signals from radar applications, driven by a specific instruction set. Acquisition block is a pre processing block, receiving samples from SDADC. The processed data is then transferred to the system SRAM using sample direct memory access.

  • Thermal Monitoring Unit

    Thermal Monitoring Unit (TMU) monitors and reports the temperature from temperature measurement site located on chip, and can signal an alarm if a programmed threshold is exceeded. Temperature Measurement Range - -40°C to 125°C.

    Complete Functional Verification of this block was done using UVM methodology, making driver, monitor, scoreboard, sequences to drive constrained random stimulus. Code and Functional coverage was generated and analyzed for 100% signoff criteria

  • System Reset Controller

    System Reset Controller generates reset for the whole device. It ensures bring up of the device from all kinds of reset.

    It involved actions on signals toggling, complete formal checker (based on SVA) was made for this. UVM methodology was used , making driver , sequences to drive constrained random stimulus. Code and Functional coverage was generated and analyzed for 100% signoff criteria

  • Power Control Unit

    Aim of PCU is to reduce the overall power of the Chip. Power can be saved by disconnecting some parts of the chip from the power supply.
    This block involved a FSM to be verified, which changed states depending on the values on inputs. So, a complete formal checker (based on SVA) was made for this. UVM methodology was used , making driver , sequences to drive constrained random stimulus. Code and Functional coverage was generated and analyzed for 100% signoff criteria.

    Networking task group of the IEEE 802.1 working group.
    I was involved in verification of every sub protocol in EP/switch mode

  • Serial Communication Interface with 7816 smart card support

    SCI is a basic serial communication interface having implementation of basic UART Full Duplex Protocol, and an upper layer protocol – Smartcard 7816 protocol .It provided support for ISO 7816 protocol to interface with SIM cards and Smart Cards, support for T=0 and T=1 protocols. ISO7816 is single wire half duplex protocol.
    Complete Functional Verification of this block was done using UVM methodology, making driver, monitor, scoreboard , sequences to drive constrained random stimulus
