AI agents and cybersecurity

- [Instructor] Think of traditional AI models like traffic lights. A red light means stop, a green light means go. They give you a clear signal based on the input they're fed, but they don't think beyond that. Contrast that with an AI traffic officer. Not only can they change the light, but they can also wave cars around an accident, and even call in backup if a truck breaks down. That's the leap from traditional AI models to AI agents. When it comes to cybersecurity, we have to look at AI agents from two angles. First angle is, how can they help with security? Instead of just alerting you of a phishing email, they could cross-check it against threat intelligence feeds, trace whether anyone clicked the link, and even recommend how to contain the impact.
