Blink Gateway
Blink is a popular payment gateway in the UK for accepting donations online. This payment gateway allows you to connect GiveWP to your Blink account to accept credit cards and Open Banking payments online with ease. Blink supports both one-time and recurring donations.
In order to accept donations with Blink using GiveWP you will need to have an active Blink account, the Blink GiveWP Add-on, and the Core GiveWP plugin installed and activated.
After your Blink Add-on is activated, go to GiveWP > Settings and click on the Payment Gateways tab. There you will see the default Payment Gateways (PayPal Standard, Test Payment, and Offline Donations). You should also see Blink as an option as well. Click on that menu item to set up Blink as an active payment gateway.
Connecting to Blink
To begin accepting donations with Blink, add your Blink Merchant ID and API keys in the Blink Gateway settings. You can find the settings in Settings > Payment Gateways > Blink Payment.

Testing Your Blink Integration
You should test your gateway integration before going live with your fundraising campaigns. Blink lets you create test API keys in your account that you can add to GiveWP’s Blink settings. Use Blink’s test cards and Open Banking credentials to make test donations.

No, Blink accepts payments in many currencies. As long as you have an account with Blink, you can accept payments from just about anywhere. One exception is the Open Baking payment method. Your GiveWP settings must use GBP as the currency to offer Open Baking on your donation forms. Contact Blink to learn more about their requirements and limitations.
