what is wrong with mysql?

    I have a linux (mint) server and have installed LAMP, I’ve setup mysql to have a database (wordpress) and a user (wordpressuser) with full privileges. However, I cannot get wordpress to connect to my database. when I login as root there are 4 databases but when user wordpressuser logs in there are only two. As shown here,

    How do I fix this?

    Edit: What does it mean “This image has an empty alt attribute” It should show what I mean but isn’t showing.
