I am particular about candles. I prefer beeswax. These were offered so I carefully chose them. They are white palm. These do not have a dirty black burn nor do they smell. There are 100 in a box. Some wicks are off centered. They have a steady burn and last for 4 hours. I clip the wicks prior to lighting them. I use old tweezers to pull them out to cool so I can light more. I will reuse the old ones for shorter durations. Very nice clear cups. I will repurchase. Like liquid torches!!!
