What ages is Bina designed for?
Bina is built for children ages 4 to 14, with the AI's tone, vocabulary, and safety limits tuned to each child's age. Parents set the child's age during setup and can adjust it later.

What makes Bina "halal & ethical AI"?
Our AI's guardrails are designed with Islamic values in mind — no haram content, no ideas that undermine parents or faith, and no distracting, addictive design patterns. The AI encourages curiosity and critical thinking instead of giving quick answers a child would just copy.

How is Bina different from ChatGPT for kids?
General-purpose AI wasn't built for children — no age awareness, no parental controls, no filtering of unsafe topics, no digital-wellbeing limits. Bina bundles a kid-safe AI conversation with screen-time controls, app management, and parent activity reports in one system.

Can I see what the AI says to my child?
Yes. Parents get activity summaries and can review conversation topics in the parent app. We keep parents in the loop without turning the experience into surveillance for the child.

How does screen-time management work?
You set daily and per-app time budgets, quiet hours (bedtime, school time, prayer times), and app allow/block lists. Bina rewards offline activities with more screen time when appropriate.
