A lagom life
“Haha, now I've done it again. I’ve been hard on myself. I'm so good at that, right?” The words, freely translated from Swedish, are from the band Bob Hund and their song “Tralala lilla molntuss, kom hit ska du få en puss”. It came on today when I was out walking. It struck me how well the lyrics describe the feeling that keeps haunting me. Maybe that’s why I always restrict myself so much.
Rewatched: Prisoners 🍿 I love this movie! Jake Gyllenhaal does an amazing performance.
Finished reading: Bestseller by Pascal Engman 📚 Yes, Pascal has done it again. So far, all the books in this series have been great.
Watched: The Bombing of Pan Am 103 📺 A good mini series.
Watched: The Asset 📺 Great stuff, as always with Danish productions.
Finished reading: X by Pascal Engman 📚 Yet another great book in the series.
Rewatched: Behind Her Eyes 📺 Good mini series with a lot of twists.
Watched: Breath of Fire 📺 Ok watch. No more, no less.
Finished reading: Änkorna by Pascal Engman 📚 I’m so happy to have discovered this author and book series. Great stories, and it feels so very real when the plot often takes place just around the corner from where I live, sometimes even on the same street. It’s like being there.
Watched: Mayor of Kingstown Season 4 📺 One of my favorite shows. Every season is great, no episode a filler.
Finished reading: Råttkungen by Pascal Engman 📚 I enjoyed it even more than the first book, largely because the story is set in my neighborhood.
Finished reading: Kokain by Pascal Engman 📚 I liked it, and realizing towards the end that I’d accidentally missed the previous one in the series will definitely clear up some questions when I now go back in time.
Finished reading: An Evil Mind by Chris Carter 📚 Even though this was my least favorite in the series so far, it’s still a solid 4/5. Many more to go.
Finished reading: Eldslandet by Pascal Engman 📚 This was the first book by Pascal Engman that I’ve read, and I really enjoyed it. It’s gripping from the start, and I loved how two very different worlds are slowly and skillfully woven together as the story unfolds.
