From social platform to learning platform.
Cormonity began as an ethical, ad-free social network for verified communities — built on the belief that the internet should bring people together safely, not exploit them for profit. We still believe that. But working with real institutions taught us where that belief matters most: education.
So we became a learning platform — without throwing anything away. The verified identity, the governed communities, the XP economy, the living network graph: they all survived the pivot, because engagement is exactly what learning platforms lack. Today, every course on Cormonity is a living community, every credential sits on a tamper-evident record, and the whole platform can run on an institution's own servers.
Our values didn't change: privacy by default, verified membership, safety as architecture, and radical transparency. What changed is where we apply them.
