feature-board

A feature request board for your subreddit, built on Reddit's Developer Platform (Devvit). Requests are collected automatically from subreddit posts — the community votes on them right from the feed, and moderators track progress with statuses.

How it works

• No direct submissions. Any post in the subreddit flaired Feature Request is automatically added to the board — whether the flair is set when posting or assigned later.
• Voting. Users vote from the board (one vote per user, toggleable). Board votes are independent from Reddit upvotes.
• Statuses. Each request moves through Request → In progress → Shipped, or Declined. Status changes are moderator-only.
• Two views. The feed shows a compact top-5 of active requests with one-tap voting; the expanded view adds status filters, request details, links to the original posts and moderator controls.
• Privacy. If the original post is deleted, the board entry and all its vote records are permanently deleted too. No data ever leaves Reddit.

Setting up in a subreddit

1. Install the app on the subreddit.
2. A board post is created automatically on install.
3. Create a post flair named Feature Request (Mod Tools → Post flair).
4. Optional: subreddit menu → "Import existing Feature Request posts" to backfill posts flaired before the app was installed (scans the newest 100).

Privacy

No data ever leaves Reddit. The app stores only public post content and per-user vote records, all within Reddit's own infrastructure. If the original post is deleted, its board entry and all vote records are permanently deleted.
