AI is changing our future.
Together, we can shape it.

educAItion is a hands-on AI literacy camp where kids ages 8–12 explore what AI is, how it works, and their role in shaping its future — with the option to learn alongside parents, grandparents, or other curious adults. Five days of exploration, creation, and critical thinking built for individuals and families alike.

What You'll All Experience

Not screen time. Not a coding bootcamp. A week of guided discovery that leaves participants curious, creative, and critical thinkers — and parents or grandparents inspired by what their kids can do.

Explore AI Deeply

Participants explore what AI actually is through hands-on activities — not lectures. They'll train simple models, see bias in action, and discover the science behind the headlines. Together.

Build Something Real

Every participant picks a problem they care about on Day 1 and builds a solution alongside a group — working together all week long. On Day 5, they present their creation to family, friends and each other.

Think Critically

Participants explore both sides — the promise and the pitfalls of AI. They'll discuss bias, energy use, economic impact, and the importance of human creativity and judgment.

Inaugural Camp — August 17–21, 2026

This is a community-built pilot — not a team project. We're gathering 15 Chicago families to shape AI literacy for the next generation, together. Kids and adults can learn side by side, with sessions designed for kids, adults, or families together.
