dilek — Turkish for a wish.
This is where you ask for the next zero-dependency TypeScript library.
I maintain a set of libraries that install without pulling anything else in behind them: spreadsheets, barcodes, HTTP clients, SQL builders, printer languages, lightboxes. This repo decides what the next one is.
- Ask. Open an issue describing the library you want. One library per issue.
- Vote. Add a 👍 to any issue you also want. Reactions are the vote — a comment saying "+1" is not counted.
- I build. I take the most wanted one that I can actually do well, and it ships with no dependencies like the rest.
Sorting by 👍 shows the current standing: most wanted.
The libraries here exist because something was heavier than it needed to be. A good request names that: the thing you tried, what it dragged in, and what you wish existed instead.
Requests I am unlikely to take: wrappers around an existing SDK, anything that needs a server I would have to run, and anything I would have to keep in step with a moving proprietary API.

Each library takes weeks of evenings. If one of them saved you some, you can sponsor the work. Sponsors do not get to skip the queue, but they do keep the queue moving.
