The mission of Pride Salsa is to offer a queer/trans-centered Salsa dance community that defies the gender binary. Through a commitment to refined dance education we deconstruct heteronormative ideas of partner dance to cultivate connection beyond the constraints of gender roles. Remaining committed to thorough training, strong technique, and consent, we embrace all gender identities, expressions, and body types. While honoring our queer/trans bodies we also honor the music, culture, and history of Salsa.
