Really loved how the movie consistently maintained the uncomfortable vibe. The camera effects and visuals called back to Mandy (toned down, obv) and definitely enhanced the film for me. The normalization of the violent behavior through the sound design and cult members' reactions was very well done, and positioning the cult as a new family for Dani allowed this film to throw away the traditional protagonist/antagonist relationship and portray both sides in a balanced way.
