In recognition of the Year of Civic Leadership, William & Mary Libraries invites students to think about the complex societal changes brought about by technology and innovation throughout history. Submit your comic to our third annual W&M Libraries Draw the Line Contest, and show how civic leadership can have an impact on the "rewiring" of history. All skill levels are welcome and prizes up to $750 will be awarded!

Join us Tuesday, Sept. 15 in the MacKenzie Theatre to hear Dr. Alan Taylor, Pulitzer Prize–winning historian and professor at the University of Virginia, discuss his newest book. Drawing on the extensive and revealing Blow Family Papers housed in Special Collections, this presentation examines a plantation on the edge of the neighborhood where Nat Turner led the largest slave revolt in Virginia's history.
