The Libraries aim to provide equal access to all resources, services, and spaces for all patrons. If something isn’t accessible, we welcome accommodation requests and feedback.
The Libraries follow the University's Accessibility Policy & Guidelines and are committed to complying with the technical standards identified in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level A and AA.

Assistive technology
Students, faculty and staff have access to Windows 11 desktops in open computing areas, as well as MacBook Air laptops and Chromebooks for checkout at the UGL and Purdy/Kresge circulation desk. All operating systems include built-in accessibility tools supporting vision, hearing, mobility, and speech/language assistance, including NVDA screen readers on all desktop computers.

Collections
The Libraries are committed to improving accessibility in our collections by advocating for vendor conformance with accessibility standards and addressing barriers when they arise. The Libraries also provide guidance for faculty on how to best share library resources with students, including the use of library permalinks to provide access to more accessible resource formats.
Although we strive to collect, acquire, and develop accessible collections, all materials may not be fully accessible. However, we can provide remediated, accessible versions of digital/electronic library materials to users with disabilities upon request.
