Off-grid communication
Communicate without depending on cellular service, commercial internet, or a centralized provider.

Our mission
Lehigh Valley Mesh is a collaborative effort to design and deploy decentralized mesh communication systems throughout the Lehigh Valley. Using open hardware, LoRa-based mesh networks, and amateur radio techniques, we focus on practical, real-world deployments that work when traditional infrastructure does not. Join a growing community of makers, radio operators, and technologists pushing mesh communications forward.
MESHCORE / NORTH AMERICA
For LVMesh companions, repeaters, and room servers, configure the radio with the LVMesh settings shown here. Every radio on the network must use matching RF parameters.
TX POWER IS DEVICE-SPECIFIC AND IS NOT PART OF THIS NETWORK PROFILE.

Communicate without depending on cellular service, commercial internet, or a centralized provider.

Efficient sub-GHz links make strategically located, low-power infrastructure practical across regional terrain.

Repeaters hosted on homes, rooftops, towers, businesses, and elevated sites create useful regional paths.
PACKET PATH / MESHCORE
A companion sends the packet, repeaters relay it, and the destination receives it. Observers listen separately for network telemetry.
Visibility is independent of RF message delivery
CORESCOPE / LIVE
Follow live node activity, packet traffic, and observer telemetry across the region.
Live packet activity · summary counters refreshed every 60 seconds
MESHRF / PLANNING + SIMULATION
Simulate RF links, viewsheds, coverage, and candidate sites against real terrain before installing hardware.

No published radio render is available for this selection. Try another frequency or bandwidth.

HOPREACH / REGIONAL COVERAGE
Explore terrain-aware coverage for LVMesh’s primary 500 kHz network and the surrounding 62.5 kHz mesh. Filter the preview by frequency and bandwidth, then open the same selection in HopReach.
MESHMapper / ABE COVERAGE
Wardriving pairs phone GPS with a Bluetooth-connected MeshCore companion to record where repeaters are heard, signal strength, and whether a path works both ways.
Field observations let us compare measured coverage with HopReach predictions, prioritize useful repeater sites, and verify improvements after a deployment changes.
DRIVE SAFELY Configure the app before moving and let a passenger operate it. GPS coordinates upload to MeshMapper rather than being broadcast over RF by default.

A rooftop, tower, campus, or commercial site can open valuable RF paths.

Plan deployments, troubleshoot radios, and meet operators across the region.
