Terms of Service

1. Services and agreement

These terms are between you and the community operators of Lehigh Valley Mesh (LVMesh). They apply to lvmesh.com, our CoreScope map and observer portal at map.lvmesh.com, and LVMesh-operated HopReach coverage tools. By using these services, you agree to these terms. 2. Accounts and Discord sign-in

Provide accurate account information, protect your passwords and connection credentials, and use only accounts and observers you are authorized to manage. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Tell us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Discord sign-in is optional. If you use it, you must meet Discord’s age requirements and follow its terms. LVMesh is independently operated and is not endorsed by Discord. Signing in with Discord does not grant administrator access or ownership of someone else’s observer. Existing account links and observer ownership must be established through the supported verification or recovery process.

3. Observer registration and radio settings

Register only receivers you operate or have permission to manage. Confirm their actual frequency, bandwidth, spreading factor and coding rate, and update the saved configuration when the receiving radio changes. A setting saved in CoreScope does not retune hardware remotely. Do not submit false ownership claims or deliberately mislabel traffic.

You are responsible for operating radio equipment in accordance with applicable laws, permissions and equipment requirements. These services do not grant a radio license, spectrum authorization, access to private property or permission to operate another person’s equipment.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use these services for unlawful activity, harassment, impersonation, unauthorized access, credential theft, malware, intentional interference or attempts to bypass access controls. Do not overload the services, evade rate limits or upload information you are not entitled to share. Report suspected security issues privately to our contact address.

5. Submitted information and network observations

You retain any rights you hold in information you submit. You give LVMesh permission to receive, store, process and display that information as necessary to operate the service and its documented maps, packet views, APIs and coverage outputs. This permission is limited by the Privacy Policy and does not authorize public disclosure of private account credentials or Discord account data.

Radio transmissions may be received by other participants independently of LVMesh. Advertised node names, public keys, positions and received packet information can appear in network views and exports. Do not submit secrets or information you do not want shared through those features. Deleting a map account does not recall radio transmissions or copies held by independent recipients.

6. Availability and estimates

These are community-operated services, provided as available. Maps, packet attribution and coverage predictions may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate. Radio coverage depends on real conditions and is not guaranteed. Do not rely on these tools as an emergency service, a safety-critical communication system or a guarantee that a radio link will work.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not provide warranties of uninterrupted service, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose, and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses caused by reliance on these services. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

7. Access changes and ending use

We may restrict or suspend access to address abuse, inaccurate registrations, security risks, legal obligations or service maintenance. We may change or discontinue features. You may stop using the service at any time and request account or data deletion through the process in our Privacy Policy. Ownership recovery does not transfer an observer already linked to another account without resolving that ownership separately.

8. Other services and updates

Discord, hosting providers and independently operated linked tools have their own terms. These terms do not replace theirs. We may update these terms as our services change; the current version and its effective date will be published here. For material changes affecting account use, we will provide notice through the service before those changes apply. Contact [email protected] with questions or account concerns.
