Ze lijken een beetje op lijsten, maar hebben een paar belangrijke verschillen en voordelen. Sets zijn ontworpen om duplicaten te elimineren en snelle bewerkingen uit te voeren, zoals zoeken of het vergelijken van meerdere verzamelingen. Laten we sets ontdekken en zien hoe ze je programmeren eenvoudiger maken! <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Sets versus lijsten<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Een <strong>set<\/strong> is een ongeordende collectie van <strong>unieke items<\/strong>. Dat betekent dat een set automatisch duplicaten verwijdert en geen specifieke volgorde hanteert. In Python maak je een set door items tussen accolades <code>{}<\/code> te plaatsen, of met de functie <code>set()<\/code>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Hoe verschillen sets van
