DPI participates directly in the calculation. If both games use the same DPI, the ratio cancels; if they differ, the target sensitivity changes. R6 uses a whole-number horizontal slider from 1 to 100, so CS2 → R6 shows both the ideal raw match and the nearest legal slider value instead of presenting a fractional slider as enterable.

R6 Sensitivity Converter Formula

The converter matches physical hip-fire turn distance with cm/360 = 914.4 ÷ (DPI × sensitivity × yaw). For R6, yaw gain follows Ubisoft's documented relationship: input yaw × MouseSensitivityMultiplierUnit × horizontal sensitivity.

Ubisoft documents the official default R6 multiplier as 0.02, but does not publish a degrees-per-count yaw constant on that page. This calculator therefore labels its R6 0.00573 default yaw anchor and CS2 0.022 m_yaw as community-measured values, cross-checked against FPSSensitivity's published model and frozen together in model 2026-08-24-v1.

Intermediate values remain unrounded for calculation and round-trip tests. CS2 results display four decimals for practical game entry, not as measurement certainty; R6 results use the nearest whole-number 1–100 slider and disclose the remaining cm/360 difference plus an approximate custom multiplier for a closer match.

This is a PC mouse hip-fire horizontal-turn model. It does not convert ADS, scopes, vertical sensitivity, FOV/monitor-distance matching, controller input, or console settings.

Accuracy

How Accurate Is the R6 Sensitivity Calculator?

The arithmetic is reproducible for model 2026-08-24-v1: source DPI, target DPI, sensitivity, the official default or user-provided R6 multiplier, and the disclosed yaw anchors all appear in the result formula. The yaw constants are community measured, not permanent Ubisoft or Valve guarantees.

Matching hip-fire cm/360 does not guarantee identical perceived aim. Field of view, aspect ratio, ADS behavior, recoil, movement, mouse acceleration settings, and game updates can change how a converted setting feels. If either game's yaw behavior changes, the model and fixtures need revalidation.

Keep the converted value if it already feels controlled. When it feels close but not exact, adjust by a small amount and test again before making another change.

How to Test Your Converted R6 Sensitivity

After you convert sensitivity to R6, test the value with movements that match real Siege gunfights. Start with small crosshair corrections around doorways and head-height angles. Then check recoil control, short tracking movements, and wider turns without changing your DPI or several settings at once.

If you repeatedly move past the target, lower the sensitivity slightly. If your crosshair consistently stops short, raise it slightly. Small adjustments preserve the useful baseline from the calculator and make it easier to identify whether a change actually improved your control.

Siege rewards precise micro-adjustments and disciplined angle clearing, so the best setting is not always the fastest one. Use the converted result for a consistent first test, then keep the final value stable long enough to build reliable muscle memory.
