| SECURITY UPGRADE AT KLEINBAAI LIFESTYLE ESTATE
Security remains one of the cornerstones of the Kleinbaai Lifestyle Estate offering, and we are pleased to announce the appointment of Suidsee Security Solutions to oversee the estate's access control and camera monitoring systems.
Suidsee Security Solutions is a locally owned and operated security company established in 2021, specialising in professional camera monitoring and estate security solutions. The company is also the security provider at the renowned Romansbaai Beach & Fynbos Estate, situated adjacent to Kleinbaai Lifestyle Estate, where they manage access control, camera monitoring, and estate security operations.
Suidsee Security Solutions officially commenced operations at Kleinbaai Lifestyle Estate on 1 June 2026, implementing and managing Phase 1 of the estate's enhanced security infrastructure. This phase includes the activation of the gatehouse access control system, facial recognition technology for residents, and advanced camera monitoring systems at the estate entrance. |

| The new facial recognition access control system has been designed to provide residents with a seamless and convenient entry experience. Homeowners will be able to access the estate quickly and securely without the need for remotes, tags, or access cards. The system utilises advanced facial recognition technology capable of accurately identifying registered residents under varying conditions, including when wearing prescription glasses or sunglasses.
Access control will be supported by an on-site security officer stationed at the gatehouse, while the estate's camera network will be monitored through Suidsee Security Solutions' dedicated control room, which operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The entrance security infrastructure includes state-of-the-art surveillance equipment and AcuSense camera technology. These intelligent cameras are specifically configured to distinguish between people, vehicles, and environmental movement, significantly reducing false alarms while improving overall monitoring accuracy.
Phase 1 of the security implementation focuses on access control, gatehouse operations, and entrance monitoring. Phase 2 will focus on the continued enhancement and monitoring of the estate's perimeter security systems.
A dedicated gatehouse contact number will also be made available to residents for visitor access assistance and general security enquiries.

Congratulations to Devco Group Brand Ambassador, Cheslin Kolbe, on another successful season in Japan Rugby League One.
This coming weekend, Cheslin will play his final match for Tokyo Suntory Sungoliath in the Japan Rugby League One third-place playoff, bringing to a close a highly successful chapter of his professional rugby career in Japan.
As one chapter ends, another exciting one begins. Cheslin will return to South Africa ahead of the upcoming season, where he will once again wear the colours of the DHL Stormers - returning to the franchise where his professional rugby journey first began.
We look forward to following his journey in Stormers colours once again. The entire Devco Group team is excited to welcome Cheslin back to South Africa and looks forward to spending more time with him as he begins this next chapter of his remarkable rugby career. |
