I'm Jouke Siekman — infrastructure engineer and indie hacker from Leerbroek in the Netherlands. I design and run production infrastructure: from BGP networks and MikroTik configurations to Kubernetes clusters on Proxmox and fully self-hosted tooling. MTCNA/MTCRE certified.
My background runs from VoIP platforms and regional ISP networks with their own ASN to platform engineering with k3s, GitOps and CI/CD. I think in systems, not in separate components — from layer 2 up to the application.
Next to my engineering work I build indie projects: affiliate sites, SEO-focused PHP sites and a Dutch domain marketplace. Everything runs on my own hardware — my own git server, my own monitoring and a live status page.
On this blog I share what I run into: concrete posts about Kubernetes, networking, MikroTik, PHP development and domain investing. No theory, just what works.
