Do we need an AI agent to use Taskfolk?
No. Agents are optional. Your team can use TaskFolk for everyday project management and connect an agent only when it is useful.
Which agent tools can we connect?
You can connect Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and other tools through MCP, the REST API, webhooks, or installable skills.
Can AI turn a PRD into epics and tasks?
Yes. Taskfolk's AI work breakdown reads a PRD, FRD, spec, or a rough brief and drafts a structured backlog: epics, the stories and tasks under each, and subtasks under those. It asks a few clarifying questions when the brief is ambiguous, and you review and edit the tree before any issue is created.
What is a viewer, and are they really free?
A viewer can read projects and follow issues, but cannot create, comment on, or move work. They are free on every plan, with no cap. You only pay for builders, the people who actively create and manage work.
What does the free plan include?
Every feature: unlimited members and free viewers, up to 5 projects with unlimited issues, every view (board, backlog, list, calendar, timeline), sprints, milestones, reports, GitHub, imports from Trello, ClickUp, Jira, monday.com, Linear, Asana, CSV import, and 25 AI credits a month. Paid plans lift the capacity: more projects, storage, and AI credits, not the feature set.
How does the 14-day Pro trial work?
Your first workspace starts on a full 14-day Pro trial, with no credit card. When it ends you choose to upgrade or drop to Free. Your data stays; you only lose the extra capacity (projects beyond five, and the larger storage and AI allowances) until you upgrade.
How does your pricing stay this low?
We are a small team building this for ourselves first and for you second. No sales team, no chasing growth at any cost. We charge less because we spend less, and we never bill for viewers.

What happens when my trial ends or I stop paying?
