About TickTick

We spend our time improving the way people manage theirs. So everyone can stay organized, make room for creativity, and live with greater ease.

One Team, One Purpose

To us, time management is not about filling every minute or pursuing productivity without pause. It is about seeing what matters, giving each commitment its proper place, staying present, and leaving room for life. We believe its purpose is not only to help people achieve more, but also to give them more space to live with intention.

That is why we want TickTick to feel simple without sacrificing capability: common actions should always be close at hand, advanced options should appear only when needed, and everyone should have the freedom to shape the experience around their own habits.

Our story began with GTasks, an Android app that synced with Google Tasks. We later built on everything we had learned and launched TickTick. For more than a decade, we have continued exploring how to help people make better use of their time while finding the right balance between rich functionality, a clean interface, and an effortless experience.

After all, there is more to organize than a to-do list. Our days also include meetings, time set aside for focus, habits we want to build, and occasions we look forward to or do not want to forget. They are all different parts of the same life, and each needs its own place in time.

That is why TickTick gradually grew to include multiple Calendar views, along with Pomodoro, Habit Tracker, and Countdown. It also expanded across phones, computers, tablets, watches, and the web. As platforms and operating systems continue to evolve, we keep refining the experience. We want TickTick not only to be available everywhere, but also to make every moment of capturing, planning, and completing feel reliable, intuitive, and smooth.

Today, tens of millions of people have grown with TickTick. They found us at different points in their lives, from students on campus to professionals across a wide range of industries. Each of them uses TickTick in their own way to plan their time, accomplish their goals, and gradually develop a rhythm that works for them.

We also use TickTick every day to move work forward, organize our lives, and keep track of the moments we do not want to lose. We are both its creators and its users. The problems it addresses are part of our own days, and the friction we encounter and ideas we discover through everyday use continue to motivate us to make the product better.

Over the years, TickTick has received recognition from app stores and the media. But what gives our work its deepest sense of meaning is seeing the difference the product makes in people’s real lives. We see people who have used TickTick for thousands of days and completed thousands, or even tens of thousands, of tasks. We also see people share what they have learned, helping others find approaches that work for them. Feedback can lead to meaningful improvements, while years of using TickTick can gradually turn into lasting changes in someone’s life. These specific, genuine moments are what we value most.

From a simple list to a tool that brings together tasks, schedules, focus, habits, and important occasions, TickTick continues to move forward. In the years ahead, we will keep learning from the changing ways people work and live. We will embrace new platforms and technologies while staying true to the direction we started with: building a reliable, thoughtful product that people can depend on for years to come. We hope to help people plan with greater clarity, focus more fully on the present, and live with greater ease.
