    Technology Behind the Scenes

    Open-source tools made Famelack possible:

    • Three.js: Drives the interactive 3D globe.
    • Video.js: Powers playback for many live TV streams.
    • hls.js: Handles HLS playback for audio-only radio streams that need it.
    • Luxon: Handles local time calculations for countries worldwide.

A big thank you to these and all open-source communities for making projects like Famelack possible.

    External Streams and Feeds

Famelack connects your browser to video, audio, image, and webcam feeds provided by external sources. When you play or view external content, your browser communicates directly with that provider.

External providers may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser information, or request details as part of delivering their content. They operate independently and may have their own privacy policies.

Some content on Famelack is delivered through embedded YouTube players. For embedded playback, Famelack uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode where applicable. When YouTube content is loaded or played, your browser may connect directly to YouTube and Google services and may transmit technical information such as your IP address, browser or device information, and referring page. YouTube and Google handle that information under their own privacy policies.

    Security

Famelack is served over HTTPS to encrypt and protect your connection to our website.

    Favorites

Your favorite TV channels, radio stations, and webcams are stored locally in your browser. This information is not sent to Famelack's servers. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
