This was eye opening and changed my understanding of recycling, landfills, rubbish, the relative cost of making more robust materials like cloth and ceramic. I feel mildly freed of my latent guilt around single use plastics. I guess I am pro-landfills now?? Weird but good

Throwing rubbish in a landfill is (usually) better for the environment than recycling it. With few exceptions, recycling ends up emitting more CO2 and costing more money, while landfills are cheap and secure. - Recycling mid-tier plastics (like plastic bottles or butter tubs)

This is wild but I’m baffled by the “interfaces have no interim code” claim. Maybe I’m being thick, but an interface represents a backend, data, a world model, etc. so there must be some connecting code between interface -> data? What am I missing or misunderstanding? @tlakomy?
