Exactly a year ago a fire ripped through our farm. It destroyed many of our trees - for wood, cork and olive oil, as well as our fencing and farm equipment. We鈥檝e replaced as much as could and we know we could have lost so much more.
The fires near Madrid are 250km away but our skies all full of the smoke today. I can barely see Monsanto. It must be terrible for the people affected.
