You do. Inkwell does not claim ownership of the screenplays, save points, or version history you create or bring into the product. You can export to Fountain and PDF on every plan — and to FDX (Final Draft) on Writer and above — so your files are not locked in. Separate employment, collaboration, option, or purchase agreements can still allocate particular rights.
No. Ghost text is only a suggestion. Edit selection and revision skills show proposed changes in the document; analysis skills can return findings without editing. Agent Mode works on a separate result draft with save points for landed edits and a final review. Accept or reject individual changes, or accept or reject them all. Nothing moves into the draft you keep until you say so.
Yes. Inkwell supports bring-your-own-key configuration so you can use your own provider account, with the model and key managed in settings. Hosted AI remains available on every plan if you prefer not to manage keys.
