We imagined Dock as a way to bring the darkroom into the digital age. As photographers, we love the colour control of an enlarger and the speed and workflow of a minilab scanner. So we brought the best of both worlds together in a product you can keep on your desk. Fast, intuitive, and built to give you complete control over your negatives.
Feed your film in.
Dock gets to know your negatives the moment you feed them in. It senses the film, recognises the frame size, and finds every image across the roll. No cropping. No guessing.
Narrowband RGB,
built for film.
Colour film stores each colour in its own dye layer. Cyan, magenta, yellow. White light hits all three at once, and the layers bleed into each other. That’s where muddy colour comes from.
Dock scans with three narrow wavelengths instead. Red, green and blue, each one tuned to a single dye layer. Every colour read on its own, exactly where the film put it.
Cleaner separation. Neutral whites. Colour as the film recorded it.
Same negative, same camera, same exposure. Straight scans: no colour correction, no adjustments of any kind. What changes is only the light.

Your camera, in perfect sync.
A shutter cable is all it takes. Dock holds your camera open in bulb mode and times the light itself, so every frame of the roll gets exactly the same exposure. Any camera.
