Over two years ago during my freshman year at Emmanuel University, I came across an Instagram post from REACH at University of Southern California and learned that REACH is a growing national organization with chapters across universities nationwide. What started as curiosity quickly became a calling. After reaching out Dylan Huey to learn more about how to start a chapter, I began conversations with university staff and leadership to make bringing REACH to Emmanuel possible. In Spring 2024, during my freshman year, at age 19, I founded and launched EU REACH at Emmanuel University GA and have since had the privilege of serving as President. Building a chapter at a Christian university looked different than it did at many other campuses. We had to be intentional about partnerships, opportunities, and the type of culture we wanted to create — making sure everything aligned with our mission and values. What shaped REACH most, though, wasn’t strategy — it was the secret place. Through prayer, research, and asking God what He specifically wanted REACH to look like at Emmanuel, a vision started to form: we weren’t meant to just be another chapter or another social media club. That’s where our motto, “Creating for THE Creator,” was born. Today, Emmanuel REACH exists as more than an organization. It has become a creative movement on campus — a community of Christian creatives who use their platforms, talents, and creativity to glorify God. We believe creativity is ministry. God is the original Creator. We were created by a creative God for a creative purpose. We don’t just create for the Creator — we create alongside Him. As President and Founder, I’ve had the opportunity to help build systems, establish organizational identity, create programming, lead teams, develop partnerships, and create spaces where students can use their gifts to impact campus, community and most importantly The Kingdom! My leadership in this space is deeply rooted in the belief that EVERYTING we do (as believers) (even creative work and the mundane) is worship. After one of our first major events this semester, I shared with our team that the work we do behind the scenes — from photography and video to sound, lighting, live streams, and design — is not secondary, but essential to what God is doing on campus. This campus is our mission field, and the content we create helps students feel seen, builds community, breaks barriers, and ultimately creates space for encounters with the presence of God. Whether on stage or behind the camera, every role is a form of worship and service. Grateful for our first advisor Ashley Westbrook , our current advisor Jackie Brashear , every student, leader, mentor, and supporter who helped turn a vision into reality. Excited to continue building what God started. 🤍

On April 14, 2026, an idea that started as a small vision became a reality — and hopefully a new tradition at Emmanuel University GA .Quad Fest started as something the Lord slowly placed on my heart piece by piece. At the beginning, I had no roadmap, no guarantee it would work, and honestly no idea how it would all come together. But step by step, the vision grew.I founded and created Quad Fest with the goal of building something bigger than just another campus event — I wanted to create an experience: live music, community, student organizations, food, creativity, and spaces where people could connect.Through collaboration with Student Life, university marketing, and my incredible team at  EU REACH , that vision became reality. Some highlights from Quad Fest: • Founded and named a brand-new campus event from concept to execution • Brought together campus ministries, organizations, and students through booths and activities • Organized the first-ever EU REACH Thrift Pop-Up — the first thrift/vintage style fundraiser of its kind on campus • Coordinated sponsorship partnerships and fundraising efforts, including securing drink sponsorship support from poppi through relationship-building, outreach, and logistics coordination (special thanks to REACH &  Dylan Huey  ) • Booked live entertainment, including indie band Steady the Wave and opening artists Amelia Dial & Caleb Mooring • Helped create an outdoor festival atmosphere with live music, food, games, and community engagement • Welcomed 200+ students and community members to the event One of my favorite parts of this process was the music piece. We knew we wanted live music but couldn’t find the right fit. After praying about it, a spontaneous trip to Gainesville months earlier led me to discover Steady the Wave — and that moment ended up becoming part of the story that brought this event to life.I’m incredibly grateful to the people who supported, funded, encouraged, and helped execute this vision — especially Student Life leadership, our REACH team & advisor Jackie Brashear . This event reminded me that sometimes leadership looks like building something that doesn’t exist yet.Already excited to run it back next year. 🤍 I also was part of our REACH media team for the event as a photographer and content/running socials for EU REACH and Emmanuel Student life on Instagram so enjoy some pictures of me and from the event as well as this link to all the pics I took!
