Each year, 5,000+ developers, engineers, software architects, dev teams, managers, and executives from 70+ countries gather for DeveloperWeek (Feb 18-20, 2026 | San Jose, CA) to discover the latest in developer technologies, languages, platforms, and tools.
DeveloperWeek 2026 is the largest developer conference & event series including the DeveloperWeek 2026 Conference & Expo, 1,000+ attendee hackathon, 1000+ attendee tech hiring expo, and a series of workshops, technical talks, and keynotes.
Because DeveloperWeek covers all new technologies, our conference and workshops invite you to get intro lessons (or advanced tips and tricks) on technologies like VR Dev, Artificial Intelligence Dev, Blockchain Dev, IoT Dev, Serverless technology, Microservices technology, new JavaScript frameworks, and more.
This year, DeveloperWeek will have an expanded DevExec World, which is 2 days of roundtable talks, educational talks, and networking events for engineering managers, tech executives, and lead developers. Additionally, DeveloperWeek will be co-located with ProductWorld and AI DevWorld.
DeveloperWeek puts the spotlight on new technologies. Companies that participated in past DeveloperWeek events include Google, Facebook, Yelp, Rackspace, IBM, Cloudera, Red Hat, Optimizely, SendGrid, Blackberry, Microsoft, Neo Technology, Eventbrite, Klout, Built.io, Ripple, GNIP, Tagged, HackReactor, and 30+ more here!

How is DeveloperWeek different from other tech conferences?
DeveloperWeek stands out because it:
- Covers multiple emerging technologies in one place
- Balances technical know-how with real-world case studies
- Welcomes both builders and leaders
- Includes hackathons, workshops, and executive programming
- Is trusted by top technology companies year after year
Participating companies this year include Oracle, IBM, Red Hat, Akamai, and many more.
Can I attend sessions across the different Worlds, or do I need to stay in one World?
Yes, you can attend sessions across the different Worlds.
Why buy a PRO or PREMIUM Pass?
The OPEN pass primarily provides access to the Expo and sponsored sessions. The PRO and PREMIUM passes give you access to all education sessions and the certification program. PREMIUM is a VIP pass that provides access to exclusive experiences and unlimited certifications.
I’m not a developer but a manager or executive. Is this conference for me?
Yes, there are separate tracks for product management (ProductWorld) and technology leaders (DevExec World), with sessions geared toward these audiences. The PREMIUM Pass also provides access to exclusive VIP experiences for networking with peers and speakers.
How do I get the most value as a first-time attendee?
First-time attendees get the best results when they:
- Review the agenda and plan their sessions in advance
- Balance technical learning with networking
- Spend time in the Expo
- Understand what it takes to complete a Certification while in attendance
DeveloperWeek is what you make of it.
I’m still unsure. Should I attend?
If you want to:
- Stay relevant in a fast-changing tech landscape
- Learn from people who have solved problems you are facing
