Current Engagements
Second Factor recently performed work on behalf of the Department of State (DoS), the Department of Labor (DoL), USAID, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). Our experiences on these programs included a host of varying initiatives, some of them involved (but certainly not limited to) the below:
- Develop and maintain certificate policies / practices in compliance with Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD 12)
- Entrust, PrimeKey, Microsoft, and Red Hat platform engineering and operations services for public key infrastructures (PKI)
- Enable our customers to transition their PKI needs to web-based offerings
- Support PKI enablement of web-based services & CDM efforts at DoL and USAID
- Engineering and operations services for the system that digitally signs all U.S. Passports
- Maintain and upgrade DOS switching and firewall infrastructure
- Perform network security evaluations
