Using the UK BONITOYS 15.6" laptop screen extender for 61 minutes daily for 47 days now, I’ve noticed a huge improvement in workflow and multitasking. Alright let’s break this down.

Is it portable? Yes. Would I be caught using this in a coffee shop? No. Will I use this at my desk though? Yes. It’s actually functional and does its job. It is not as portable as others that attach to your laptop and fold with it. It is very much a separate device but does its job. So if you can handle the stares and glares in public, go for it. You do you. I would travel with it knowing I was doing work at my in-laws house or something when I don’t have access to my desk setup.

Does it work though? Yes. But there’s a catch. Have an Apple laptop? Great! Have a MacBook Air though? Well only 1 screen is gonna work…or you can set it up vertically in the ugliest least functional way possible. You can only display to 1 screen on an Air. There’s no way around that but that’s not their fault. That’s on Apple. Have a MacBook Pro tho? You’re golden. FYI, THIS IS NOT A LAP DEVICE. For the love of God please use this on a table or desk. Don’t even try it on your lap. Just don’t. It’s like 47 pounds and will snap your little hinge in half. Plz don’t try it. Plz. There’s a kickstand for a reason.

Are the screens nice? Uhhhhh kinda. At this price point they’re solid. Text is a little rough to read but not awful. It’s a very very matte finish that comes with a natural blur to it. You can adjust the resolution output on your computer to your liking and it’s fine. Nothing crazy. But for the price, it’s appropriate. They are a nice size and fit my 14” Pro very nicely.

Ultimately, they’re a good value for the price. Not perfect but again, you get what you pay for. I’d say if you have a MacBook Air buy their single screen if they have one. This is definitely a Pro device. All around it’s a solid device. The loss of a star for me is unfortunately the kickstand and the fact that it doesn’t fold with my laptop and is separate. It’ll get use, just not as much as I had hoped.

EDIT: I feel like I shouldn’t take away a star for something the product never claimed it didn’t do. It really is a good product at the price point. Going to work great on my desk!

Love that you can move the screens around. It comes with a nice carrying case and is easy to transport! Cables included and set up was super easy! The screens are sleek and feel very durable! The picture looks great!

I purchased this monitor extender for business travel, and it’s been a great investment. The product delivers excellent value for its price and has become essential for my remote office setup. It fits well in my sturdy computer backpack alongside my other equipment, making it convenient to work anywhere.

The screens magnetically snap together (face-to-face) and attach securely to the mounting arm when stored, which fits neatly into a rigidly-lined satchel. This setup ensures solid protection during travel. The satchel fits snugly in my backpack. I cart this backpack on top of my roller board—a system that works effectively in large airports.

Workspace Optimization:

Unlike other “triple” screen extenders where the monitors sit flat on the desk, this product’s mounting hardware elevates the screens above the surface. This setup creates space to keep my notepad under the left screen, and to creates clearance to run cables like my docking station cord.

Display Quality:

The 15.6” screens have a matte finish and impressive clarity with a 120Hz refresh rate (adjustable to 60Hz), making them great for office productivity tasks. They’re easy to clean, cause no eye strain, and enable productively with no distraction.

Compatibility and Accessories:

The kit includes well-labeled hardware and cables that are compatible with various laptop ports. It works seamlessly with my Microsoft Surface Studio 2 Laptop, which has two powered USB-C ports. The right-angle connectors help with cable management. I haven’t used all the included accessories, but they seem durable and versatile.

Challenges and Solutions:

An issue arose when I used a 6th monitor connected via DisplayLink (USB-A port). This disrupted the signal to the right-side extended screen due to DisplayLink’s lack of power for monitors. Switching to the H5 cable resolved this issue, but it increased the number of cables. I work with 5 monitors now, 3 directly on the laptop, 2 more destop monitors powered by my docking station. When traveling, I just use the “Triple” screen extender.

Size and Professional Use:

The 15.6” screen size is noticeably better than the 14” screens. For even greater productivity, I’m considering the 16” version offered by another Amazon seller.

This product is a great fit for professionals who value portability, workspace efficiency, and durable equipment. I feel the price is worth it for the increased productivity and convenience. I'd be willing to pay more for a 16" version. There are several variations of this product on Amazon.com, sold under different brands. They have the same good build quality so I'm guessing they come from the same manufacturer. The screens are crooked. And they physically have to be crooked in order for the product to sit on a table.

I saw all the pretty pictures, considered how something like this could help with productivity, but the designers of this product are willingly overlooking a glaring issue. — 2 screens are attached via hinges to either side of a centerpiece that sits behind your laptop (not attached). In order for that centerpiece to rest on the table, it needs to lean against a kickstand built into the back. This means that the centerpiece is leaning back some 10 to 20°. Well, what does that do to the screens on the left and right if they are attached to this leaning object. They too lean backwards. But then when they are tilted inward to face the viewer, they are now crooked. This by itself would not necessarily be a dealbreaker, but there is no way to articulate the screens. (turn them out 10 to 20°) to compensate for this issue. So what you see flanking your laptop is a crooked screen to your left and a crooked screen to your right. Your windows are crooked, anything you read will be crooked, your mouse will move at a crooked angle…

It’s an understandably unintuitive problem that the sellers and designers of this item are neglecting to address. This is a failed design. And a blatant one at that. And yet here it is ready to be sold to anyone naïve enough to trust what looked like a very promising piece of tech.

This couldn't accommodate my lenovo laptop. The power and c1&c2 ports come off the back of the computer, so the stand couldn't be flush. Then the angle of the monitors was tilted too far back, and adjusting the stand for a more vertical orientation made it tip over forward. It look a lot of playing in my windows 11 settings to get the configuration to read correctly, which was supposed to be the easy drag and drop order. It even took powering the monitors off and back on. Otherwise, the picture was nice and it was easy to change orientation.

De preferencia que las visagras de tu laptop estén resistentes por el peso de las pantallas. Aunque el producto cuenta con "Una pata" de apoyo para la pantalla de tu laptop , la cual va a soportar el peso de estas dos pantallas extras.
