Engineering leader for AI-enabled, remote-first teams. Payments at scale.
I have managed engineers for years, including leading the organization behind PayPal's Buy-Now-Pay-Later platform. I work on the parts that decide whether a team ships: technical direction, org structure, and the tradeoff between reliability and velocity in systems where mistakes cost real money. These days I also build with coding agents, and I write about what that changes.
I am based in Philadelphia and work remote-first.
- munadmahinoor.com: case studies on leading BNPL platform engineering, a throwaway simplification layer that shipped a checkout rewrite's outcome without the rewrite, and an LLM-driven PII scanner that runs as a standing CI/CD control. Each one has an AI-narrated reading.
- blog.munadmahinoor.com: essays on engineering leadership and building with AI agents.
- personal-site: the site itself. Astro, no tracking, WCAG 2.2 AA with body text held to AAA contrast. Accessibility wins every conflict, and the rule is enforced by a Playwright suite that runs axe, a keyboard walkthrough, forced colors, reduced motion, 320px reflow, and a real VoiceOver narration gate before every commit.
It was built by an agent workforce I directed. Directing agents is closest to ramping a new direct report: the bar flows from you to the agent, not the other way around.
