About Me
Hi, I'm Liam Haas-Neill. I hold a PhD in Biophysics, where I specialized in large-scale molecular dynamics simulations of proteins, coupled with extensive data analysis and modeling in Python. Over the course of my PhD in Dr. Sarah Rauscher's lab I worked on several projects elucidating protein structure and dynamics with computational tools. I've also worked in the engineering industry as a machine learning researcher to develop models to automate engineer workflows using Pytorch, Scikit-Learn, and various other machine learning and data science libraries. My expertise spans computational biophysics, machine learning, and scientific programming, with a strong focus on extracting insights from complex biological systems. I'm especially interested in applying AI and data science to challenges in drug discovery, protein engineering, and the broader biotech space.
