Hello, Newgrounders! Just wanted to put out this blog post to say... I'M STILL ALIVE!!!

July has been the worst month for me this year, and I have been brought down by a SHIT ton of stuff (e.g. disclosed friend drama from a deleted tweet I'd rather not go too deep into detail here), but you know what's crazy? I'm still kicking. I don't know how I'm still kicking after all of that, but it's whatever. At least I'm here to do a small little check-in that I'm going to try and do every month on Newgrounds :D

Anyways, let's get to the main part of what I'm about to talk about here today;

A New Direction

Almost a month ago, I've got into a serious conversation with two people about how I've been acting when it comes to women, and how I draw them. They said that how I draw women looks "objectifying", and I wanna take VERY serious action at that problem. And so starting from July 4th and onward; I decided to redesign Box Boy and Box Girl, later do my first drawing with the new designs, and later redo the reference sheets for them.

I'm still sorry for any people that disliked my drawings for these issues specifically, and I promise that this new art direction will be better than ever and will be even more creative! I'm still gonna draw OCs in the Box People style, but now I'll draw them in my own ways (if easy/possible due to my limited skills), and we'll see how that goes :D

I'm still distancing myself from art for now, and I'll come back when it's safe/good to do so, because right now I've distanced myself from art a lot because of all of the things that had happened this month, but also, if you guys want to know more about what has happened with me this month, please read this doc here:
