I completed my PhD in Bioengineering at Stanford University, co-advised by Dr. Nikolas Blevins and Prof. Brian Hargreaves as part of the IMMERS and Surgical Simulation labs. My research focused on establishing computational and interaction frameworks that enable more accurate and perceptually grounded AR systems for microsurgical guidance. Beyond research, I served as President of Stanford XR and co-founded Immerse the Bay, Stanford's first public XR hackathon.
Before Stanford, I was a Research Assistant at the Neural Engineering and Nanobiosensors Group, working on neural interfaces and restoring human vision through electrical stimulation. As an undergraduate, my research focused on the intersection of medical imaging and robotics perception for surgical guidance, with the Robotics and Mechatronics group at the University of Twente.
My work is driven by the belief that research should lead to meaningful real-world impact.
