AGM Spectrum Digital scope for deer hunting?

A friend recommended I consider an AGM Spectrum digital day/night scope for deer hunting. I have no experience with one. Anyone have an opinion? I’m concerned about losing resolution/clarity while increasing magnification on long range targets. Any thoughts on this subject?

FS Foundation vs Manners 6.5cm comparison

Help with comparison. Shootout between FS Ezekiel-NVCS and Manners LRH-NVG.

Both have the reputation and can’t be wrong either way. I’ve used Manners for a long time and love my T4 stocks. I had planned all along to get either the CS or LRH for next rifle (impact/proof cf 6.5cm) but the Foundation customer love and reviews have swayed me. I really want to feel what the hyp is about but the availability of manners sticks is so much more accessible and I have had zero luck finding a NVCS model of an Ezekiel. I’ve debated not getting the NVCS model to just try out the Ezekiel stock without it but less inclined. And the manners LRH looks damn good. Anyone got some first hand experience to share between the two makers?

M40A5 Clone Build

Hello, I am new to the Hide. I am wondering if anybody can point me in the right direction on how to obtain a Remington 700 “G” or “E” prefix action? I already have the contract barrel from Gary Schneider, the McMillan stock, the EFR rail, Surefire muzzle brake and a Timney trigger. To be clone accurate I believe I would need either a G or E prefix action. Any advice and recommendations would be much appreciated. Thank you all.

XLR Element with ultralight carbon fiber buttstock in CA

Hey, I’m trying to decide between C-6 buttstock and ultralight carbon fiber on an ELR Element. Do any of you live in Southern California and shoot an Element with either of these buttstocks? If so, please let me know your thoughts and if I can meet you at your range sometime to see the options.

Winchester brass WTF

A local Gun /Reloading store turned me on to 308 winchester brass that is sold in store for under $40 . Told me it was really good brass and he never had a problem with it . (Bullshit) loaded it for first time shot decent for new brass. First reload having problems with neck tension bullets are loose and not seating. Start measuring outside neck size , 0.334 that's good . Inside dimension 0.308 -0.310 WTF? Should be 0.306.. Neck wall thickness 0.010 -0.011 🤯😵 should be a minimum of 0.014 . Apparently winchester brass is notorious for thin neck walls why didn't I know this? Learning shit the hard way I guess. I will stick with PPU . Or Peterson. I know everyone loves lapua and alpha but I don't like the price . Last time i try something new with researching it first.

IF INTERESTED

PPU Brass , 44.5gr varget 175gr SMK 2.820 seating. 24” outlier berrel 1:8 twist. 1/2” MOA 100yds holds good out to 1000 -1200 yds
