- SBMM belongs in games. That’s it. My wife wouldn’t want to play Fortnite with me of was no SSBM because she wouldn’t get a chance to do anything which isn’t fun for her. This applies to any game that incorporates it, a below average / average player isn’t going to have fun.The ignorance here is infuriating: gamesradar.com/wanting-an-eve… I see mention of the skill-based matchmaking component I designed for Halo 2 and 3 on this site every so often. It's usually mentioned reverently, but then an outlier jumps in to claim "it can't work today". I disagree.
