All previously staked STX unlocked at the PoX-5 hardfork activation. To keep earning in the first PoX-5 cycle, you must restake before Bitcoin block 962,050. Restaking also comes with an upgrade: holders can now change the reward address without missing a cycle.

The SIP-045 hard fork reinstated the 1,000 STX block reward on July 30. Total supply at the April 2028 Bitcoin halving moves from approximately 2.10 billion under the prior schedule to approximately 2.16 billion under the restored reward, a difference of 2.9% over the next 21

The PoX-5 upgrade has been activated without issues. Core contributors have verified the activation and the network is producing blocks normally. Signers, node operators, and exchanges migrated ahead of activation. More to come as the rollout continues.
