Twitter decided to demand an SMS number from a friend in order to continue to access it, and that has me spooked. Since I don't have an SMS number to give, I'll be posting at qoto.org/@ssokolow from now on. I'll see if I can set up automatic mirroring to Twitter.

The Canadian House of Commons has been doing shady stuff which can ONLY mean they want to regulate user audio/video uploads... and they've also been asking Twitter to censor posts they don't like. (Source: Michael Geist's blog) Write your senators → openmedia.org/C11StandStrong…

@ProbsNotAliens Another contributing factor to the whole Area 51 mythos: According to this video, they transported completed A-12s and SR-71s to Groom Lake in *gigantic* truck trailers where they jokingly said it was an alien spaceship to anyone who asked.

Dear @pablorodriguez, As a Canadian viewer, should #billc11 pass, I will take great caution to always watch YouTube through a VPN terminating out-of-country to ensure an unadulterated view of what YouTube thinks is "similar to" or "popular with the same people" in the sidebar.
