I think we're in the heart of the era of builders but most of them blow themselves up because they never looked at the code

“Good code” is such that it allows you to extend your system without constantly needing to re-architect.
It’s very hard to get this right when coding by hand, even more so using Agents and LLMs.

The whole “us vs them” mindset is basically a zero sum game, which in software, tends to be regressive.
I still believe Andrew Kelley’s “Unlike Rust” comment provided zero technical value and was merely just a symptom of derangement.
