The downside to pampering my wrists and using a non-Apple keyboard was losing Touch ID, which got annoying real fast.
The solution was getting stand-alone Touch ID module, that was recycled from a Apple keyboard.
Found it on Etsy for ~$100, but totally worth it.
I have finally found the perfect keyboard for Mac IMO
Kinesis mWave is ergonomic, yet compact-ish. Keys are not soft or silent, yet they are not insanely loud and don't have long travel.
Been using it for the last month and it really is 🤌
