A single sensor reading travels left to right. It leaves a remote sensor at the edge and fans across three connectivity links that all route onto the internet: the satellite link drops and is cut, LTE carries the reading through, and LoRa stands by as a mesh relay. From there the reading crosses the point where it lands, buffers in an open data layer, and resolves into a live query result whose event count climbs in real time.
