Yesterday, Ashburton became a hub for innovation as we welcomed 45 educators to our Empowering Educators with AI & Innovation event. From exploring the potential of Google Gemini in education to discovering how effective prompting and Gemini Notebook can help create more engaging, personalised learning experiences, the afternoon was packed with practical ideas educators can take straight back to their classrooms. One of the standout moments? Caz Nortje from ASUS putting Chromebook durability and serviceability to the test with live demonstrations that certainly got people talking. A huge thank you to Google for Education, ASUS, Tom Rose and Danny Bedingfield for helping bring this event to life. Most importantly, thank you to the everyone who joined us, shared their insights and embraced the conversation around the future of teaching and learning. #NZEducation #ProfessionalLearning #CycloneEducation #CycloneIT #ASUS #GoogleforEducation

Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetū partnered with Cyclone to transform an existing large-scale display installation that was impacted by visible bezels and reflections in the bright gallery environment. Our specialist AV team designed and delivered a custom TaylorLED COB solution featuring seamless image quality, ultra-fine pixel pitch, high brightness and a unique 90-degree corner configuration that allows content to flow effortlessly across displays. For years, schools could count on technology getting cheaper over time. Today, that's no longer guaranteed! Rising demand for AI infrastructure and ongoing supply chain pressures are driving up technology costs and creating uncertainty around future pricing. The schools best positioned for success will be those taking a proactive approach, with clear refresh roadmaps, early budget planning, and long-term procurement strategies. In the current market, planning ahead may be the smartest technology investment a school can make. It was great to see so many people at the HW Richardson Group SHIFT 2026 conference this week! HWR has a long history of leading through innovation, from pioneering the world's first dual-fuel heavy truck conversion through to embracing technology and ICT to drive progress across the industries it serves. Events like SHIFT are a fantastic opportunity to bring people together, share ideas and explore how innovation can help organisations achieve their goals. A huge thank you to Ky Dutton and Sam Hill from Fortinet for their support, and to everyone who took the time to connect with Jane Allan and Michelle Duffy. We value the opportunity to build relationships, share insights and be part of conversations that are helping shape the future of technology, connectivity and business innovation. #CycloneIT #SHIFT2026 #HWRichardson #Fortinet

Strong partnerships are built over time, through shared goals, trust and a commitment to delivering great outcomes for customers. This year, we're proud to have those partnerships recognised with awards from four of the world's leading Windows PC vendors: • ASUS Rising Star - Systems Group NZ (2025) • Dell Technologies Innovation Champion - New Zealand (2025) • HP Sustainability Partner of the Year (2025) • Lenovo One Channel NZ Reseller of the Year (2025) While we have evolved significantly from our foundation as a local PC Whitebox assembler 30 years ago, end-user computing continues to be a cornerstone of our business. These awards reflect the strength of the relationships we've built across our vendor community, as well as the dedication of our people. While we're honoured by the recognition, what matters most is what sits behind it: supporting organisations across New Zealand to make the most of their technology investments and supporting better outcomes for their people. We'd like to thank ASUS , Dell Technologies, HP and Lenovo for their continued partnership and our customers for the trust they place in us every day. Recognition like this is never the result of one team or one organisation. It's the product of strong relationships, shared success and a collective commitment to doing the right thing for customers. We're grateful for the journey so far and look forward to continuing to deliver value together. #CycloneIT #Awardwinners #ASUS #DellTechnologies #HP #Lenovo Leigh Gibbard | Daniel Norton | Emily Bradley | Sam McNeill | Stefan van der Busse | Tracey Thomson | Jackson Cropp
