About us

Kruso is a tech consultancy helping organizations navigate complexity and turn technological abundance into meaningful change. With 25 years of experience in the tech industry, we know that progress is not defined by technology alone, but by the choices people make with it. That is why we work at the intersection of data, direction and execution. We help ambitious organizations find the signal through the noise, build digital platforms, improve processes and create tools and experiences that people actually want to use. From commerce and digital services to AI, integrations and operations, we bring together strategy, technical expertise and purposeful execution to move businesses forward. Kruso is made up of 150 specialists across Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany and Ukraine. People who care deeply about their disciplines and know how to bring them into play in a context greater than themselves.

  • Digitalizing the public sector is easy to plan for, but harder to actually deliver. On September 7th, we're co-organizing OffDig Next in Copenhagen - Dansk IT's conference for the people turning digitalization strategy into something that actually runs: developers, implementation leads, operations, support. Expect sharp takes on topics like cybersecurity, citizen-centric solutions, AI, infrastructure, and digital sovereignty. Read more, and get your ticket through the link: https://dit.dk/offdignext/

  • You're probably already working on your Digital Product Passport. Are you solving the right problem though? Most companies treat DPP as a data exercise. Collect it, format it, publish it. That's the easy part. The hard part is proving what you claim about your products, consistently, to anyone who asks, for as long as the product exists. That's not a task you finish. It's a standard you either meet or you don't. Together with Grant Thornton Denmark, we're hosting two morning sessions on the Digital Product Passport, tailored specifically for the textile industry. Seats are limited, so grab yours through the link today: Aarhus: https://lnkd.in/gd6piKq8 Copenhagen: https://lnkd.in/gxRfxYbY

One thing to add to your calendar before heading off for summer. This August and September, we're hosting a free morning session on the Digital Product Passport, tailored specifically for the textile industry. You'll get a practical introduction to DPP, hear how by BY MALENE BIRGER approached their own journey, and learn how to build a realistic implementation strategy with Grant Thornton Denmark. We'll then take you through the technical side - how the right systems work together, how data flows across them, and what to consider before getting started. You'll leave with practical insights you can apply in your own business. 27 August | Aarhus | 07:45–10:00 3 September | Copenhagen | 08:45–11:15 Free to attend. Save your seat via the link in the comments.

A successful digital partnership is not measured by features shipped or platforms launched. It is measured by whether the collaboration keeps creating real business value, year after year. Over the past two years, our Growth Consulting team has worked side by side with Klint to improve their digital commerce experience through structured experimentation, growth consulting and close collaboration. Not as an external vendor, but as a genuine extension of the team. The result: +30% conversion growth in just six months. But just as important, the partnership has been built on the ability to turn ideas into real improvements. Or as Daniel Öhman put it, the value comes not only from the ideas themselves, but from being “refreshingly competent” at making them happen. Finding that kind of partnership is rare. We do not take that lightly.

Recently, Danish media covered the EU's new technical standards for the Digital Product Passport. For most companies, that headline lands as another compliance deadline to manage. But there's a more useful question to ask right now: not "when do we need to comply?" but "where do we actually stand?" The companies that start early tend to discover something uncomfortable AND valuable. The product data they assumed they had, they often don't. The supplier transparency they thought was in place, isn't. Getting that picture early is an advantage, not a burden. We built the DPP Check to give you that picture in a few minutes. 12 questions across your products, data infrastructure, and supplier setup. You get a concrete readiness score and a profile of where to focus. Try it here: https://lnkd.in/evkpAebG

Building has become the easy part. The hard part is making sure what gets built actually works- in the processes, the governance, and the behavior of people inside an organization. That's where Kruso Netherlands is placing its focus. And that's why Marloes Naber has been appointed as our Dutch CEO. Marloes built the transformation practice at Kruso that we're now steering the entire company toward. She knows exactly where digital initiatives stall, and how to move them forward. Congratulations, Marloes! We look forward to this next chapter 🚀 Get the full story here: https://lnkd.in/e9gS94dP

Team Kruso just returned from Umbraco Codegarden 2026. As to no one's surprise, AI dominated almost every conversation and talk. But what really caught their attention was something more practical: Umbraco is making life easier for editors 💥 For us, that's exactly the point: it's never really about the technology itself. It's about giving people better tools to do their work. Faster, smoother and with fewer bottlenecks. Umbraco’s new automation features, improved editor collaboration and reusable content elements all point in the same direction: content teams will be able to do more themselves. As people who build and operate digital platforms every day, we like that direction a lot 👏🏼 #Codegarden2026 #Umbraco

Good technical decisions don't happen by accident. They come from people who understand the bigger picture, challenge assumptions, and help teams think beyond the next deadline. That's why we're excited to see Johannes Axner step into the role of Tech Strategy & Enablement Lead at Kruso Sweden. Johannes brings a rare combination of technical depth, strategic thinking, and a genuine passion for helping others succeed. In this role, he'll work across teams to strengthen technical direction and help ensure we're making decisions that create lasting value for our clients. Because great technology is never just about code. It's about the thinking behind it. Grattis, Johannes! 🇸🇪

Last week, we asked a room full of commerce professionals a simple question: How many of you have been part of a digital commerce project that went live, but never really landed? Most hands went up. The technology worked. The business did not change. When results disappoint, teams look at the platform, the vendor, the budget, the timeline. The organisation around the technology almost never makes the list. But here's the uncomfortable truth: technology doesn't create value by itself. It multiplies the organisation around it. A strong organisation, multiplied. A fragmented one, also multiplied. The question is never whether the technology works. The question is whether the organisation around it is worth multiplying. That's what Marloes Naber and Niels Simonsen Brinkø took to Truvio Commerce Day. And the recognition in the room was immediate!
