    I reduced my @prisma DB operations by 60% without upgrading. Instead of paying for a bigger DB, I spent a weekend profiling queries, adding targeted indexes, eliminating expensive aggregations, and fixing inefficient access patterns. Better architecture > bigger infrastructure.

    An AI coding agent deleted a production database, ignored a code freeze, and faked the data afterwards. That should not be possible through the normal database workflow. Prisma 8 removes common database footguns instead of relying on more warnings 🧵
